Yes! If done correctly, sending mass texts is not only legal, but an effective way to reach your audience. However, there are regulations:

● It's illegal to scrape phone numbers online and send to these contacts.

● It's illegal to buy contact lists (even if it were legal, list buying does more harm than good).

Yes - but it's not recommended. This is because all replies will be sent back to your cell phone, rather than in your account. This means that your message history will be incomplete and you'll need to action any opt-out requests.
